Form and Size: A small tree to 5m high, with a gnarled appearance.
Distribution: Areas on the Great Dividing Range in inland Qld.; often on boggy areas and
sometimes on sandstone ridges.
Leaves: Scale-like, very small, clasped to the branches.
Bark: Dark, papery.
Flowers: White to mauve; borne in cylindrical spikes to 3cm long.
Flowering Period: November to January.
Fruit: Capsules, woody.
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from seed.
