Form and Size: A small, slender shrub, 1.5-2m high, with erect branches.
Distribution: Inland, central Qld., on sandstone escarpments.
Leaves: Opposite, spoon-shaped, thickened, aromatic, grey-green, smooth, recurved point
at the tip, 0.6-1.5cm x 0.2-0.5cm.
Flowers: Pink, about 1cm long, pendulous; in clusters in the upper leaf axils.
Flowering Period: April to August and sporadic.
Fruit: A small nut.
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from cuttings, which may be slow to develop roots. A good
container plant, needing partial shade. Previously Darwinia thomasii.
