Epiphyte of rainforest trees, flowering July-September.

Erect or spreading stems 20-60 cm long, which are succulent, cylindrical, and taper towards the base.  

3-6 leaves spread from the apex.

Inflorescences are 5-30 flowered, with dull yellow sepals and petals, and mottled red blotching on the outside.
