Form and Size: A tall shrub or small tree, 3-12m high.
Distribution: Rainforests of north-eastern Qld.
Leaves: Egg-shaped, hairy beneath, 8-17cm x 3-7cm; new growth
densely hairy.
Bark: Grey, corky.
Flowers: White, about 0.8cm diameter, 5 petals; borne in panicles
arising opposite the leaves.
Flowering Period: November to December.
Fruit: Black, oval, about 2cm long, succulent.
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from seed. Needs well drained soil in
a protected, semi-shaded position.
