Stems and new growth are distinguished by rusty coloured hairs.
Distribution: Widespread throughout
northern Australia.
Leaves: Simple, opposite with veins prominent on the underside.
Flowers: Pea like, bright yellow.

Period: Anytime.
Fruit: A pod 2-3 cm long.
