Form and Size: Medium shrub with upright form; branches covered in
hairs.
Distribution: Qld. and N.S.W.; on forested ranges and in coastal areas.
Leaves: Elongated heart-shape, dense hairs on both surfaces, 15-25cm long.
Flowers: White, small; in small, dense clusters forming a large panicle.
Flowering Period: October to January.
Fruit: Purple, 0.7cm long, with two flattened wings.
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from seed or cuttings. An attractive plant with ornamental foliage. Prefers
well drained soils and dappled shade.
