Acronychia laevis

 Form and Size: Small to medium size bushy tree, to 4 metres.

Distribution: Throughout Queensland and northern NSW, in dry rainforest.

Leaves: Opposite, simple and entire.  Obovate, very glossy on both sides, and often rounded and notched at the tip.

Flowers: White or cream, star shaped with four petals, occurring in cymes.

Flowering Period: November to February.

Fruit: A fleshy drupe, usually mauve to purple when ripe, and pleated into several sections.
