Acronychia acronychioides

Form and Size: Small to medium tree with a dense habit.

Distribution: Rainforests of north-eastern Qld.

Leaves: Each leaf has 3 broad, lance shaped leaflets, to 20cm x 6cm, on a leaf stalk about 7cm long; new growth glossy red.

Flowers: Creamy yellow, hairy, about 1.5cm diameter in dense clusters.

Flowering Period: January to April.

 Fruit: Yellow, egg-shaped, about 1cm long; edible.

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from fresh seed. May be difficult to germinate. Requires abundant water.
