Form and Size: Tall, sparsely branched shrub with reddish, sticky
branchlets.
Distribution: Inland northern and central Qld., from White Mountains to Tambo, on shallow, rocky
soils.
Phyllodes: Leathery, straight, oblong, blunt, smooth, 1-2.5cm x 0.2-0.3cm; mid vein prominent.
Flowers: Yellow balls in groups of 1-3 arising from the leaf axils.
Flowering Period: June to July.
Fruit: Pods, straight, smooth, 4-6cm x 0.5cm; constricted between the seeds and appearing bead-like.
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from treated seed.
